Luvfreak is a new alias from Brooklyn based producer Derek Russo, focusing on re-edits and sample based productions.

First up we have a DJ-friendly, muscled up version of the sleaze classic by Sylvester, "I Need Somebody to Love Tonight". The OG gets looped up and tossed in with a classic drum break, beefy kicks, guitar and THAT synth riff replayed on the Juno 106.

Next up we have a re-edit of Stevie Wonder's classic "Too High" looped up along with some parts of Joe Farrell's cover version from 1974. Add a sliced up sax riff, some vocal chops and boom bap drums, and you've got a grooved out bomb prime for summer.
